I know and don't expect anything to be done regarding my experience since you already have my money. But word of mouth and a written review goes a long way. I intend to post this review at every opportunity.
Excellent modern themed hotel. Very comfortable beds. Hotel service up to standard. However one day they forgot to give our daily 2 bottle of complimentary water. We called them and asked for it and they ended up bringing 4. Location is about 10 to 20 min from all Disney parks and Universal Studio. They also have a character meet dinner area that I did not attend though.
I will never stay at your hotel again if it is free. Had I known my experience would be this bad I would have driven home and saved the money and aggravation. Staying in a hotel is supposed to be a pleasant experience, not just a bed where you lay your head.
Thank you to everyone for wishing us a Happy Anniversary wherever we went, thanks to Debbie providing us unique "Happy Anniversary" buttons.
We had a king size room with a balcony. It was beautiful and so clean. It was one of the most impressive rooms we ever stayed in...and the bed was so comfortable, especially after some long hours at the parks. Great resort and cast members to make your stay memorable.
Andre who concierge our luggage up to the room, even though we chose not to use valet was so nice and gave us tips for how to get to the parks the fastest. We never use concierge but Andre changed our opinion on that for the future.
Let me first say how disappointed I am in your hotel. The only reason I even considered the Swan was because Disney Resorts had no vacancies. I also thought it would be ideal since we were attending Epcot.
Not a bad resort hotel. A little smaller than its nearby sister, The Dolphin and just a little run down in places but you do expect to be in Disney most of the time. The character restaurant is OK and there is a small cafe for breakfast but the Japanese and Italian restaurants are very good. Bus and boat taxi links to the various Disney locations.
Debbie who checked us in made the process simple and enjoyable when she found out it was our anniversary weekend. She went out of her way to make us feel special....we would most definitely stay at the Swan again.
And then we arrive at the room. Are you kidding me? $300 for this? That room is definitely not at that level to charge that kind of money. I have stayed in many types of rooms and trust me your hotel room is no big deal. Surely not worth the price. Then to be awakened by a crying baby next door shows how thin the walls are. Awful.
We had a 3 night stay on the 12th floor of the hotel. The check-in was quick and the front desk agents were very friendly. The room was clean and very well kept. One of the best things about this hotel is that it's located on Disney property. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Orlando.
First your cost is astronomical, $300 per night by the time you add a resort fee and taxes. I understand taxes but a $32 resort fee for a couple "complimentary" waters? And then the nerve to charge another $20 to park my vehicle. Way to take care of the locals driving in and choosing your hotel. Wow Disney doesn't even charge to park. But you know what i figured the hotel looks nice from the outside so what the heck.
