The lobby was attractive, staff was friendly.
Meets my expectations of a ≈$100 per night hotel
First the good, Arrived early and the receptionist was very helpful getting us registered and giving us a parking key. The breakfast was very good and the waitress was very attentive. NOW, when we arrived back at the hotel to get our room the staff took over 15 minutes to get to us as they were talking on the phone or other things. If they were taking care of other guests that's fine but they never acknowledged our presence.
Did not use the shuttle
It was fine, nothing spectacular and by no means disgusting.
Most of the hotel facilities we're very nicely updated and well-kept. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The shuttles to the Disney resorts were quick and efficient. This hotel was very nicely situated on the Disney property and you could even see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the balconies. My only issue was that the room itself was very old and in need of refurbishment.
Room service was my biggest bear where we got crummy food, three small sausage patties and one dry Mickey mouse pancake with no syrup. All for $11.99 seems a bit terrible.
Then we discovered there were $3 breakfast sandwiches in the lobby and preferred those over the over priced- crummy room service.
Next, the room was very nice looking upon first look, but as the night wore on the air conditioner was very loud and ran constantly. Also the drain plug in the shower was broken and became known as the tub filled with water. Great location but don't think we'll be staying there again.
Overall it was clean, the bed & the pillows were comfortable. The balcony was big & very nice. It is close to Disney & downtown Disney. Only reason I give it a 4 is because of the shower. The shower curtain is literally pointless cause a ton of water ends up on the floor since it's literally a thin sheet with no plastic.... very frustrating getting out onto a soaking wet floor.
View was good.
The room itself looked nice, the view from.the balcony was amazing. However the hot water didn't get past slightly warm and the air conditioner wouldn't fluctuate past 70 degrees when it was in the 60s outside. Maintenance attempted to correct the situation but no major difference was noticed. The rooms were 150 a night. Parking was 8 bucks.
